Who We Are

Tarmac International, Inc. is a capital equipment manufacturer located in Missouri on the Eastern edge of the Greater Kansas City area. Starting with a small group of employees, Tarmac has grown to provide material handling equipment around the world, including North America, Canada, Western Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific. Contractors have gained respect for Tarmac's attention to detail, thoroughness of project management, competitive prices and quality equipment.

Tarmac's administrative staff has over 35 years experience in supporting customers needs. Our attention to detail and support of sales, business development and marketing make Tarmac number one in the Asphalt, Thermal and Air Pollution Control Equipment industry!

Ron Heap Ronald E. Heap, President, has been in the material handling and process equipment industry for over 25 years.

A graduate from the University of Missouri at Columbia with an MBA, Ron's responsibilities include sales, business development and marketing.

Randy Chappell Randall W. Chappell, Vice President, has engineered and design drafted for over 30 years in the material handling capital equipment industry. His knowledge has brought excellence to Tarmac's complete new facilities.

Randy studied at Central Missouri State University and is Tarmac's lead design engineer.

Randy is a decorated Vietnam Veteran.

Dale Callahan

Dale Callahan, Senior Account Manager, has more than 13 years experience in the equipment manufacturing industry and air pollution control.

Mrs. Callahan responsibilities include new and pre-owned equipment sales in Baghouses, Dryers, Silos, Conveying, AC Tanks,Cold Feed Bins and replacement parts.

Brian Tann

Brian Tann, Account Manager, has more than 10 years experience in the electrical and industrial construction industry.

Mr. Tann's project management experience and thoroughness to detail has gained respect throughout the industry.

Mr. Tann attended Wichita State University and Central Missouri State University.

Geoffrey Coit

Geoffrey Coit, Engineer, has over 10 years experience working with dust collection, pollution control and pneumatic conveying systems.

Mr. Coit has commissioned equipment and air systems, analyzed specifications and designed systems.

Mr. Coit knows the ultimate goal is to create more efficient and easier to maintain equipment.

Steven Simmons

Steven Simmons, has over 5 years professional drafting experience.

Mr. Simmons has a high organization level aimed at achieving clients' needs.

Mr. Simmons has an Associate's Degree in Engineering/Drafting from ITT Technical Institute

Rann Robinson

Rann Robinson, Engineer, has more than 20 years experience in mechanical design and manufacturing using CAD.

Mr. Robinson also has previous experience in CAD design and drafting soil remediation and asphalt equipment.

Mr. Robinson has a B.S. in Engineering Technology from Truman State University.

Krista Patterson

Krista Patterson, Office Manager, has more than 13 years experience in office support with a background in CAD design.

Krista's responsibilities include advertising, maintaining records and keeping communication flowing.

Ruthie Carnes

Ruthie Carnes, Controller, has over 20 years experience in the Accounting field.

Mrs. Carnes provides the Financial Reporting, Cash Management, Budget Forecasting and Tax Reporting for Tarmac.

Mrs. Carnes has a Bachelors of Science in Business from Columbia College.

Jutta Schneider

Jutta Schneider builds projects from conception to installation. Her abilities include high voltage 3-phase motor power, low voltage control instrumentation, and field wiring.

Jutta completed Education in Electrical Theory and Design in Europe. She can install systems to meet European CE specifications

Jutta has worked with Tarmac for over 10 years in both Europe and in the United States.

Mike Mahoney

Mike Mahoney has over 35 years experience in equipment installation, electrical wiring, welding, and plant operation. He has experience on both asphalt plant and soil remediation equipment.

Mike has been responsible worldwide for the successful start-up of over 100 plant projects.
